We are a London-based contractor, delivering a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical services throughout Central London, Greater London and the Home Counties. We have built a reputation for excellence and developed lasting customer relationships across a range of sectors including; Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Ecclesiastical, Education and Healthcare.

We pride ourselves on our highly credible track record of delivering complex projects that exceeds expectations for a large number of well-established consultants, contractors and private clients.

Services

Elmec (Southern) Ltd was launched in 2003 following a merger of BL Plumbing and Mechanical Services and Elmec (UK) Ltd. The two companies joining forces offers 150 years of collective experience in Mechanical and Electrical services and has a current annual turnover of circa £6 Million with various projects ranging in value from £25,000 to £2.2 Million.

The Directors

Andy Mason

With over 40-years experience work on Mechanical and Electrical projects, Andrew has spent his entire career in the Building Service Industry. Andrew began his career in an administrative role with a large building services company specialising in Mechanical and Electrical Systems. As the Commercial Director for Elmec (Southern), Andrew is responsible for estimating, procurement, surveying and quality assurance for the business.

Glenn Gatehouse

After completing a five year indentured apprenticeship, Glenn spent twelve year's demonstrating his craft. It is from there that Glenn was promoted to Contracts Manager, followed by Contracts Director in 2003. Glenn is an expert in his field and has embraced all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Services. Glenn is certified in Construction Management with a CIOB Diploma, alongside numerous other management, and health and safety qualifications.

Mark Thompson

Mark has joined forces with Elmec (Southern) Limited after the incorporation of Mark Thompson Electrical Services on 1st November 2021. Mark brings with him over 15 years' worth of experience of running a successful Electrical Contract Business. Mark has worked across various sectors from commercial to rail.
